A young boy, on an outing with a youth group, fell down the side of Rivington Pike and was treated for suspected head, leg & spinal injuries, then evacuated via Helimed 08. Fortunately it transpired that the only injury was a twisted ankle!

10 team members provided standby cover for the the Horwich Triathlon, organised by Horwich RMI Harriers and AC. We specifically covered the moorland track running part, dealing with one incident requiring hospital treatment. (See incident 77/2002)

Today, eight team members were out collecting at the Safeway Harwood store. Thanks to the generosity of shoppers (and of course to Safeway for allowing the collection) we raised £215.35p.
